COURANT Spliced KALIMBA Recall [23/06/2026]
What is affected?
COURANT has issued a recall for spliced KALIMBA ropes.
The recall relates to the current splice design. The rope itself is not affected.
What should I do?
If you own a spliced KALIMBA rope:
- Stop using the rope immediately.
- Contact us to arrange an approved replacement solution.
- Have any proof of purchase, product reference, rope length and serial/batch number available if possible.
We will offer an approved replacement solution.
COURANT has approved replacement options.
Why has the product been recalled?
Following several field incidents, COURANT identified that if the stitching used in the current splice design is missing, damaged or altered, the integrity of the splice may be compromised.
As a precautionary safety measure, COURANT has decided to discontinue this splice design and replace it with a new reinforced splice construction.
